MADISON — The Medomak Valley varsity wrestling team hit the road Monday, Jan. 21 to compete in a six-team event in Madison, where Amos Hinkley earned his 100th victory. 

Medomak Valley earned victories over Mount View (64-18), Dirigo (66-18), Madison (78-6) and Lincoln Academy (76-6). The Panthers were defeated by Wells 59-24. 

106 pounds: Reese Hesseltine won by forfeit against Mount View, Dirigo and Lincoln, pinned by Matt Kennard (Madison) and pinned by Michael Ducharme (Wells). 

113 pounds: Gavin Readinger pinned by Daven Barnard (Mount View), pinned Logan Morris (Dirigo), pinned Carolyn McGray (Madison), pinned by Dan Marquis (Wells) and won by forfeit against Lincoln.
