ROCKLAND — Herring Gut will bring its knowledge and cool touch tanks with real ocean animals to the Rockland Public Library for two programs on August 2.

Herring Gut Learning Experience & Touch Tank
High school and middle school kids are invited to learn about oceanography and sea life, including potential careers that can keep you working with these creatures.

2:30-3:30 PM
Touch Tank with Herring Gut Coastal Science Center
Elementary and preschool kids are invited to drop by the library to meet some aquatic creatures and learn more about them.
Herring Gut Coastal Science Center is an organization educating students and communities about the connections between the ocean, inland waters, and economy of Maine. For more information: https:// herringgut.org/
This program takes place at the Rockland Public Library and will be conducted outside, weather permitting. Both programs will include live animals to interact with and touch.
