WALDOBORO — Halcyon String Quartet presents Gather, Sunday, July 30, at 7 p.m., at the Broad Bay Church in Waldoboro. This multimedia performance combines recorded audio with live music to reflect on action, hopefulness, and imagination as it relates to the climate crisis.

“Having repeatedly heard from audience members that opportunities to focus on climate action are often missing from the climate crisis narrative, ‘Gather’ explores these actions through the sounds of our community voices,” said Halcyon, in a news release.

In addition to featuring these recorded testimonies, Halcyon will perform music that is joyful, contemplative, and nostalgic – reminding us of the power of a collective community.

Admission is by donation at the door and all are welcome.
