Habitat for Humanity, Maine’s statehood to be topics of Kiwanis lectures

    ROCKLAND — The Rockland Kiwanis Club has decided to open their weekly guest speaker program to the public.

    On Monday, February 10, Tia Anderson, executive director of Midcoast Habitat for Humanity, will be speaking about their work.

    On Monday, February 17, Carolyn Hardman, teacher of Maine history and government, will be speaking about the Bicentennial of Maine's Statehood. (Maine 200).

    The Club meets at the Maine Lighthouse Museum, in Rockland.

    Speakers will begin their program about 12:40 p.m.and end about 1:10 p.m. There will be a time for questions of each speaker.
