BELFAST — On Sunday, January 16, from 2 - 4:40 p.m., a free training will be offered in Belfast. The 2-1/2 hours will be devoted to the root of Martin Luther King’s loving civil disobedience needed to disrupt the harms of patterns of racism and the climate emergency.

All ages are invited to meet at the fire circle on the front lawn of the First Church, 104 Church St. Dress warmly.

Donations are welcome for Black and Indigenous led projects in Maine.

Trainers include Astrid Montuclard from Tahiti, East Point Peace Academy; Phoebe Dolan of Maine Youth Power; and Ethan Hughes, the Possibility Alliance.
