CAMDEN — Families and children are invited to a program on the reptiles of Maine, Friday, July 24, at 10 a.m., at Merryspring Nature Center.
Lindsay Neubeck, of the Coastal Children’s Museum in Rockland, will co-lead this program on backyard Maine reptiles. Guests will learn about reptiles’ unique adaptations, habitat, and behaviors, as well as meet a few scaly friends of different species.
To keep groups small during pandemic conditions, Free Family Fridays have limited space available and guests MUST pre-register for this program. Families can sign up by contacting Merryspring at email@example.com or 207-236-2239.
This program is outdoors. Families must wear face masks and adhere to safe social distancing guidelines. In the event of rain this program will be canceled.
Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round. The park is located at the end of Conway Road, just off of Route 1 in Camden behind Hannaford Shopping Plaza.
