ST. GEORGE —The St. George Business Alliance (SGBA) is pleased to announce that SCORE Maine volunteer George J. Frangoulis will speak at its monthly member meeting on Tuesday morning, April 23, 2019. The meeting —scheduled for 9 a.m. at the town office in Tenants Harbor— is open to the public. SGBA members, residents, aspiring entrepreneurs and new business owners are invited to attend…and bring their enterprising friends!
The national SCORE Association is a non-profit organization with over 300 chapters and more than 10,000 volunteers throughout the U.S. SCORE Maine’s 120 mentors are experienced business executives and entrepreneurs who volunteer their time to help others start and grow their businesses. They provide FREE services at numerous locations across the state.
Mr. Frangoulis comes to SCORE with more than 50 years of academic and professional experience. Since 1965, he has served as a publisher and editorial director, a director of communications and public relations, an account executive, a project manager, a business owner and founder of an import business, a technical writer, and professor of English, Journalism and Mass Communication.
Currently President and CEO of Good Morning Productions, he produces and hosts “Good Morning, Belfast!” a weekly, hour-long TV show celebrating life in Belfast and Waldo County. As a SCORE Maine volunteer, he will share his volunteer experiences and discuss and answer questions about the FREE workshops and services that SCORE provides for local residents.
The SGBA is a local non-profit trade association of businesses, individuals, civic and non-profit organizations whose mission is to promote business and cultural prosperity in St. George.
