ROCKPORT — Georges River Trout Unlimited (GRTU) welcomes Rob Giannino, author and videographer at Fly Fishing Journeys, to its October 21 meeting, in Rockport.
Giannino will discuss his 2019 exploratory fishing trips to Iceland for Atlantic salmon, brown trout and arctic char.
Trout Unlimited is a nonprofit organization with a mission dedicated to conserve, protect and restore North America's cold water fisheries and watersheds.
The GRTU monthly chapter meeting will be held on October 21 in the upstairs mezzanine at Flatbread Company, Route 1, in Rockport. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with an informal gathering for those who wish to converse and enjoy a casual meal off the menu.
The chapter meeting and featured presentation begins at 7 p.m.
GRTU conducts a raffle directly following the speaker.
Membership is open to all, and the Georges River chapter welcomes all individuals and their guests from Midcoast and Downeast Maine. Meetings are free and open to the public.
