First Congregational Church of Camden to host Faith and Public Issues Forum
The Faith and Public Issues task force of the First Congregational Church of Camden is hosting a public forum on “Managing Difficult Conversations in Politics and Current Events” on Sunday, March 24, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
The session will be led by the Maine chapter of the League of Women Voters (LWV). Anne Schink, of the LWV, will present ground rules that can help with these kind of conversations, answer questions and give participants time to practice proven techniques.
There is no charge for this forum and all are welcome to attend. The forum will be held in the Pilgrim Room at the church, located at 55 Elm Street in Camden.
