Event has passed

CAMDEN — Drag yourselves over to the Camden Snow Bowl for a spooky twist on Fall Foliage Chairlift Rides on Sunday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children 17 and under wearing a costume ride the chairlift for free, adults are $10 each. Trick or treat for candy while spooky sounds and music fill the air.

The Great Pumpkin Roll returns to Ragged Mountain for Halloween, where the first costumed child who hits the witch’s broom at the bottom of the hill wins a Snow Bowl Season Pass. There will also be paints available for kids who want to decorate their pumpkin before sending it rolling down the mountain. The Great Pumpkin Roll is sponsored by Camden Clothesline.

Ragged Mountain Ski Club will flip their final fundraiser pancakes, with breakfast served from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Suggested donation is $5, and kids 10 and under in costume eat pancakes for free. Become a member of the Ski Club and you and your family ride the chairlift for free Sunday.

Ragged Mountain Ski Patrol volunteers will fire up their wood stove Sunday morning and begin serving pizza at 11 a.m. This is a fundraiser as well, with a suggested $5 donation for a slice and a cup of lemonade.

If you have not purchased your 2021-2022 Snow Bowl Season Pass, Oct. 31 is the final day to pay at Early Bird rates. On Nov. 1, Regular Season Pass Rates are in effect for both Camden residents and non-residents.
