Farnsworth Collective presents ‘Wizard of Oz’ trivia night

Event has passed

ROCKLAND  On Thursday, January 23, the Farnsworth Art Museum's Collective membership group will host a ‘Wizard of Oz’ trivia night. The event, which is free to all participants, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Fog Bar & Café, 328 Main Street, in Rockland.

What kind of a dog was Toto? What does the Wicked Witch use to mix the poppy field potion? What does the Scarecrow do when the apple tree tries to grab him and Dorothy? What is Dorothy's last name? These are just some of the questions you may be asked at this Oz-inspired trivia night.

Everyone is invited to come, join the fun, and guess away with their teammates. Teams of six should pre-register if possible, but guests do not need to be on a pre-registered team to participate. Those interested may simply come to the event and join a team on site.

“The Wonderful World of Oz” at the Farnsworth is sponsored in part by The Goose River Exchange. The primary media sponsor of the exhibition is Maine Home + Design.

For more information, or to register a team of six, please call the museum's Education Department at 596-6457, extension 146, or email kfinlay@farnsworthmuseum.org.
