ROCKLAND — Doctors Nathan Neville and Elizabeth Neville, of Camden Hills Eye Care, recently donated a check for $550 to Area Interfaith Outreach, in Rockland.

The donation, representing part of eyeglass sales for the month before Christmas, will be used for AIO’s weekend backpack program, according to a news release.

AIO provides backpacks to at-risk schoolchildren and their families in Knox County who may not have enough to eat over the weekend.

The donation will support two children for an entire school year, according to the release.

Camden Hills Eye Care patients and employees also donated snacks that were added to backpacks before the holiday.
