CAMDEN – For the fourth consecutive year, Merryspring Nature Center and Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District have partnered to bring back their popular Explorer Kits program for the 2023 season. Explorer Kits are free take-home activities designed to inspire outdoor exploration and independent learning.

Each Wednesday between July 19 and August 23 a different Explorer Kit will be available for pickup at Merryspring. The Kits feature instructions, materials, and ideas best suited for children ages 4 to 9, with each week presenting a new surprise activity and theme.

A total of 25 Explorer Kits will be available each week on a first-come, first-served basis. The Explorer Kits can be picked up from a box in front of Merryspring’s Ross Center each Wednesday beginning at 9:00 am.

Explorer Kits are free to all, but donations are accepted.
