Representative Jeffrey Evangelos, I-Friendship, has been endorsed by the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine.

Evangelos earned an A+ rating from the group for his commitment to Maine's outdoor heritage and his perfect voting record in support of sportsmen and women.

In a letter received from the Alliance, Rep. Evangelos was informed that the sportsman's group "awarded your candidacy to the Maine Legislature our ENDORSEMENT and the highest grade of A+!" The rating was based on Evangelos's work in the Legislature, his voting record, and his work in support of the outdoor activities so many Mainer's enjoy each year.

Evangelos said in a news release: "This important endorsement underscores my commitment to uphold Maine's hunting, fishing, and other outdoor traditions. It also underscores my commitment to support our Constitutional rights, including the Second Amendment and the right to due process. Having already received the endorsement from Maine Conservation Voters, this new endorsement underscores my belief that the great stewardship of our environment and natural resources works hand in hand with the interests of our outdoor heritage activities."

Evangelos represents House District 91, encompassing the Towns of Friendship, Waldoboro, Washington, and west Union.
