CAMDEN — Merryspring Nature Center will host an all-ages early winter nature walk on Saturday, December 11, at 10 a.m.
Nature-lovers of all ages are invited to learn about how Maine’s flora and fauna prepare for winter. Guests will watch for winter birds, learn about winter animal behavior, look for tracks, identify leafless trees and shrubs, and more.
This program is part of the Free Family Programs series at Merryspring and is free to all. Space is limited, and guests must pre-register by contacting Merryspring at 207-236-2239 or email@example.com.
All guests should wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes, bring a face-mask for close-contact situations, and be prepared to walk on uneven terrain for one hour. In the event of heavy rain or snow and wind, this event may be rescheduled.
Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round. The park is located at the end of Conway Road, just off of Route 1 in Camden behind Hannaford Shopping Plaza.
