ROCKLAND — Destination Wellness Midcoast Maine and the Rockland Public Library present the talk “Enjoy - Move - Eat Well - Age Fearlessly” on Tuesday, October 1, at 6:30 p.m., in the Library’s Community Room.
In this brief workshop, presenter Jolinda Rockett will delve into the latest research for gene optimization and epigenetics and how they might affect one’s health. The workshop will cover diet, movement, and the attitude of gratitude and handouts will be available.
Jolinda Rockett has experiences in both traditional Western (working in hospital specialty units in Dallas and Boston) and traditional Chinese medicine as a licensed acupuncturist (since 1986). She holds degrees from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Maryland (MAc) and from the University of Texas (BS in nursing). She's also practiced as a professional homeopath since 2004.
