THOMASTON — Watts Hall Community Arts brings Maine guitarist, singer and songwriter Denny Breau to town for a solo concert Friday, July 15, at 7 p.m., at Watts Hall, 174 Main St./Route 1.

Maine guitar slinger Denny Breau mixes genres — folk, Delta blues, country and jazz — with ease, according to Watts Hall, in a news release. The son of Maine country music’s Hal Lone Pine and Betty Cody, Breau began playing guitar at age 9 and was performing professionally by his early teens.

“A consummate picker, evocative songwriter and completely unpretentious singer, Breau has performed with many well-known artists; is a member of Turkey Hollow (now a duo); and plays with his own trio, as well as being an in-demand studio musician,” said Watts.

Tickets for this intimate evening with Lewiston’s Denny Breau are $10, available in advance online via the calendar at wattshallthomaston.com. Tickets also will be sold at the door, as available.

The second-floor auditorium is air-conditioned and there is an ADA-compliant elevator, as well as a handicapped accessible restroom.
