Dance the night away Sept. 28 and support the Camden Hills Regional High School Intercultural Scholarship fund. Featuring live music from local Funk, Soul and R & B band, The Right Track.
All proceeds will provide financial support for CHRHS students to participate in the district's burgeoning Intercultural Program. The CHRHS Intercultural Program is has been rapidly expanding over the past several years, with a goal of ensuring that every student in the district has access to cultural immersion experiences that cultivate competence as global citizens. Exchange programs with partner schools around the world are the mainstay of the program. Proceeds from this event will support all immersion opportunities for the 2019-2020 school year, which include exchange programs with schools in Germany, France, Morocco, and Australia, a service learning immersion with Native American communities in the Colorado, and a cultural trip to London focused on Theater and the Arts.
The dance will take place in the Camden Hills Regional High School Wave Café, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Students, teachers, parents, grandparents, siblings, aunties and uncles, community members, all are welcome. Family-friendly event with potluck dinner provided by the many student groups that will be traveling abroad this school year.
