Cushing’s Arthur Kiskila honored at state capitol

    AUGUSTA — Arthur Kiskila, a lifelong resident of Cushing, was recognized on October 17 in Augusta for his dedication to public service for over 60 years.

    Kiskila received a legislative sentiment, which was presented to him by Senate President Troy Jackson.

    Kiskila had a tour of the State House, Senate Chamber, and was given the opportunity to speak with Jackson about issues important to him.  

    Kiskila had a kidney transplant in March and is recovering very well; he is continuing with his many civic, fraternal, and professional associations, according to a news release.
