Craft simple gifts at Rockland Public Library

ROCKLAND — Learn to make unique handmade gifts for friends and family that are perfect for any occasion. Come to the Rockland Public Library Community Room, Monday, Dec. 10, at 6 p.m., for an evening making several simple gifts.

There will be four tables, each with different crafts to create.

With Carney Doucette, crafters can make marbleized paper.

Patty King will help participants create items from corks, including magnets and key chains.

Mary Jane Martin will show people how to make a variety of fun bookmarks.

Peter Proeller will advise crafters in making decorative hanging moons and stars.

Just bring yourself (and a friend or two) and a willingness to learn; the event is free with supplies and guidance provided.

This program is for adults and teenagers.

Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union St.
