A service for Constance Carolyn Collette, who passed away May 8, 2020, will be held at Grove Cemetery in Belfast. The Service will be Friday, September 18, 2020, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Joel Krueger officiating.

Loving mom and sister

BELFAST — Constance Carolyn Collette passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2020 after battling a brief illness at Waldo County Hospital.

Connie was born December 28, 1932 in Eastport and was the daughter of Albert W. and Shirley (Dunklee) Lowe.

Following graduation from Shead Memorial High School, Connie was employed by Bangor Hydro Electric and Central Maine Power Company.

She married the Rev. Jack Perkins and moved to Florida living in Winter Park and Melbourne for 10 years, before returning to Maine to be near family. During this time she spent more than 25 years in a very active role within Congregational churches. Connie then went on to work for the American Cancer Society office in Brunswick, Maine in out-patient services for another 10 years.

Connie enjoyed playing the piano, drawing and painting for many years.

Connie is survived by her son, David Perkins of Dorchester, Massachusetts; her sister, Elinor Groover of Belfast; along with three nephews and two nieces. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Janet Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the animal shelter of your choice.

Services will be held at a later date with interment in Grove Cemetery in Belfast.
