CAMDEN — The free Blue Café re-opens Friday night, Feb. 14, at the downtown Camden Opera House. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the Valentine’s Day Blue Café, and the music starts at 7:30 p.m.
Boston-based duo Cold Chocolate will perform in the intimate space on the third floor.
Guitarist/songwriter Ethan Robbins and percussionist Ariel Bernstein comprise Cold Chocolate, a genre-bending Americana band that melds folk, funk and bluegrass in original music.
Cold Chocolate’s raw, rootsy sound is heightened by tight harmonies and skillful musicianship, with a focus on songwriting, according to Blue Cafe, in a news release.
Admission is free.
The evening is sponsored by 40 Paper, which provides a cash bar, and Hawthorn Inn and the Community Arts Fund. Donations are welcome.
“Expect wonderful music and some sweet treats, a perfect (and affordable) Valentine’s Day evening!” said Blue Cafe.
