Coastal Children’s Museum to celebrate Founders Day

ROCKLAND — The Coastal Children’s Museum, (75 Mechanic Street – next to Snow Marine Park) invites the young and the young at heart to join staff in celebrating CCM founders Elaine Wilson and Felicity Bowditch, and 12 years of learning through play.

On Founder’s Day, Saturday, Sept. 18, there will be no charge for admission to the museum (hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Activities will include some of the museum founder’s favorite crafts and games including a scavenger hunt and making apple cider. Winners of the bike raffle will be drawn and of course, there will be cake.

A reminder: inside the museum, children wear socks but no shoes and everyone over 2 years old must wear a mask.
