CAMDEN — On Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., the St. Thomas’ Church Parish Hall will be filled the sights, sounds and smells of the holidays. From the smells of freshly baked cookies, muffins and other goodies to a room full of colorful hand-made craft items there will be plenty to put you in the holiday mood, according to the Church, in a news release.
Further opportunities for early holiday shopping may be found at the table of “fine gifts,” jewelry and holiday decorations including greens and berries to make the home look festive.
There will be a raffle table with two large baskets — one for children and one with Maine-made gifts. Also this year will be a “cocoa bar” with all sorts of toppings for a steaming mug of chocolate.
Music from the harp, and piano will fill the halls with Christmas carols.
The annual “crèche-raising” will also take place on the lawn in front of the church at 10 a.m. All are invited to help put the stable in place and then come inside to warm up with cocoa and cookies.
