ROCKPORT — Members of the Camden Hills Regional High School Brass Ensemble will be featured at Nativity Lutheran Church in Rockport during its Christmas Eve worship service Tuesday, Dec. 24, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
In addition to the worship service, they will take part in a program of special music of the season which begins at 5 p.m. and also features the talents of Nativity Music Director, Charles Brown, Jr., vocalist Kimberly Murphy, and violinist Kat O’Brien.
The family-friendly worship will include traditional carols, children’s message, sermon, candle lighting, and Holy Communion.
A service of Christmas Lessons and Carols will be held on Sunday, December 29, at 10:30 a.m. This service features scripture readings, Christmas carols, and prayers.
Barroom Messiah, a singalong under the direction of Charles Brown, Jr., returns to Fog Bar and Café, Rockland, on Saturday, December 21. Rehearsal for anyone wanting to sing begins at 2:30 p.m. and the free performance begins at 4:30 p.m.
