ROCKLAND — On Friday, Jan. 10, at 5 p.m., The Center for Health and Healing, in Rockland, will host an open house to introduce new practitioners Taylor Ackerman and Kacie Loparto, who are both massage therapists.
“Existing members are excited to have more bodyworkers to expand the current offerings at The Center,” according to the Center, in a news release.
Ackerman is a recent graduate of the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro.
Loparto attended the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga in North Carolina.
Photographer Lisa Mossel Vietze will also be on hand to talk about her recently hung show gracing the walls of The Center.
“Her exquisitely detailed close ups of flowers take the viewer into her pursuit of tangible spirit,” said the Center.
Light refreshments will be provided.
The Center for Health and Healing is located at 17 Masonic Street, in Rockland, and has been providing a collective group of alternative health practices and community educational offerings for more than 25 years.
