Carla Skinder to present Maine wildlife photos in slidetalk

Photographer Carla Skinder will showcase photos of wildlife taken around Maine in an online webinar hosted by Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 12 p.m.

Since moving to Maine, Skinder has spent much of her time wandering through the woods and paddling her kayak in search of birds, mammals, and marine creatures. In this colorful slideshow, Skinder will show some of her spirited photographs, while the telling stories and circumstances behind the images.

“The presentation sure is to delight any nature lover, and will offer a unique look at some of Maine’s many creatures,” said Merryspring, in a news release.

Skinder is an amateur wildlife photographer who has traveled the world capturing nature. She is a retired nurse who has relocated to Midcoast Maine and currently serves on the Merryspring board of trustees.

This talk is part of Merryspring’s Online Winter Talk series, sponsored by Allen Insurance & Financial.
