Camden-Rockport 8th boys basketball defeats Troy Howard in semifinals

CAMDEN — The Camden-Rockport and Troy Howard eighth grade boys basketball teams met on the court in Camden for a Busline League semifinal round playoff contest Tuesday, Jan. 21. 

Camden-Rockport maintained quarterly advantages of 16-10, 36-22 and 49-27 en route to a 63-38 victory. 

Scoring for Troy Howard were C. Castro (one point), F. Abbett (three), P. Lovejoy (two), B. Osborne (eight), E. Veilleu (six), S. Feild (12) and C. Littlefield (six). First names were not available. 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Liam O’Dwyer (five), Will Duke (six), Ryan Glaser (two), Miles Murray (one), Quincy Messer (11), Zach Clement (two), August Knause (two) Owen Reynolds (16), Hunter Bell (16) and Alex Todd (two). 

With the win, the Schooners advance to the Busline League championship game to be played Saturday, Jan. 25 against Oceanside at 3 p.m. in Rockland at Oceanside High School.
