    Tuesday, September 1 – Wednesday, September 30, All Day (Online). Virtual Art Exhibit called “Structure & Narrative” Curated by Midcoast Maine Book Arts. Visit the library’s website at librarycamden.org/event/structure-and-narrative to view a fascinating virtual exhibit of book art that stretches the idea of what a book can be. The artists have pledged to donate 20% of sales from the art show to the library during the month of September.

Yoga in the Amphitheatre. Enjoy breathtaking views of Camden Harbor while being guided through a sequence of Yoga poses that are both grounding and uplifting. A Matter of Simple Justice. The Library welcomes the Honorable Barbara Hackman Franklin, the 29th US Secretary of Commerce, for a discussion about the book: A Matter of Simple Justice by Lee Stout. The book illuminates the Nixon administration’s groundbreaking efforts to expand the role of women—and the long-term significant advances for women in the American workplace. Members may also challenge other members at any time. Sound Immersion/Gong Bath in the Amphitheatre. Musical instrument creator and Sound Therapist Jim Doble will create waves of sound to help participants sonically cleanse, rejuvenate, rest, and recuperate in a safe environment. Sound bathers will be distanced at least 10-feet from one another, and the wearing of a face covering is mandatory (please bring your own). Doble also encourages participants to bring something to lie on (blanket or yoga mat).
