    CAMDEN — Camden police reported the following activity from Aug. 20-31. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Aug. 20

    Peter D. McGowen, 55, of Searsmont, was arrested by Officer Lucas H. Verrier for operating under the influence, with one prior.

    Samuel A. Feener, 21, of Hope, was issued a summons by Verrier for speeding.

    Aug. 23

    Brianna Bernando, 25, of Union, was issued a summons by Officer Scott Entwistle for failure to provide proof of insurance.

    Aug. 24

    Kerry Fredette, 28, of Farmingdale, was arrested by Officer Mark Bennett, Jr. on a warrant.

    Aug. 26

    Isabelle Demerchant, 27, of Liberty, was issued a summons by Bennett for speeding.

    Aug. 29

    Nancy E. Steiner, 62, of Bedford, N.Y., was issued a summons by Verrier for speeding.

    Aug. 31

    Male juvenile, 17, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Entwistle for operating a motor vehicle with a Maine license expired less than 90 days.
