Camden Police beat: Disorderly conduct, OUI, insurance violations

    CAMDEN – Camden police reported the following activity from July 1-14. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    July 1

    Terri Knowlton, 52, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Officer Sam Butler for failure to produce insurance.

    Clyde Smith, 92, of Rockland, was issued a summons by S. Butler for speed.

    Devin Davis, 32, of Friendship, was arrested by Officer Paul Thompson for operating under the influence.

    Bobby B. Parker, 22, was arrested by Thompson on a warrant for violating conditions of release.

    July 3

    Heath L. Garrold, 31, of Knox, was issued a summons by Officer Mark Bennett for operating with studded tires out of season.

    July 8

    Michael C. Surber, 32, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Officer Wes Butler for expired inspection sticker, failure to produce insurance.

    Mark A. Tocco, 19, of Camden, was issued a summons by W. Butler for operating after suspension, failure to produce insurance, seatbelt violation.

    Serene Landry, 23, of Hope, was issued a summons by Thompson for failure to produce insurance, failure to register vehicle with an expiration of 30-150 days.

    July 13

    Peter McGowan, 54, transient, was arrested by Bennett for disorderly conduct.

    July 14 

    Kenneth W. Pruyne, 20, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Bennett for operating with studded tires out of season.
