The Camden Lions Club will hold a free vision screening clinic at the Camden Public Library on Saturday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This clinic is open to all between the ages of 6 months to 50 years.
Last year, the Lions screened 70 children and adults and referred eight individuals for further professional evaluation. The SPOT vision scanning camera can detect six different issues that impact vision.
While scanning there is no physical contact or eye drops needed. The procedure is quick and easy and is usually done in less than one minute.
This clinic is a public service that the Camden Lions are happy to perform. Contact Lion John McKay (207-975-0242) for more information about having the Lions hold a free vision scanning clinic.
