Camden Hills student organizing winter football league

Thu, 01/10/2019 - 9:15am

Camden Hills Regional High School football player Aedan Kehoe is organizing a two-hand touch football league for Five Town area students in grades 7-12.

Games will be played at The PITCH in Warren on Feb. 9 and 16 and March 2, 9, 23 and 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The cost is estimated to be $35-$40 per player, depending on the number of total participants.

“My aim is to keep players engaged with football during a lull in the year and to help build the [Camden Hills football] program for the future,” Kehoe said on a flyer for the league.

The league is not only a perfect way for current Five Town Football and Camden Hills football players to continue training, but also an opportunity for those considering joining either organization to become more familiar with the sport in the Five Town area.
