TELSTAR — The Camden Hills varsity nordic skiing team enjoyed some success to begin the new year Saturday, Jan. 4 as the Windjammers competed at the Telstar Relays. 

The Windjammers had three groups of skiers place across two waves. 

In Wave A, the Camden Hills team of Alley Johnson, Allie Gill, Ian Orsmond and Elias Porter placed 31st with a time of 42:05.7. 

In Wave B, the Camden Hills team of Wilson Gray, Ashley Nelson, Shiyan Kesser and Willow McConochie placed 20th with a time of 55:15.5. 

In Wave B, the Camden Hills team of Samuel Van Lonkhuyzen, Allie Morse, Katie Thorn and Elsie Hildreth placed 24th with a time of 1:01.57.7. 

Individually, Abigail Harrison placed 11th for the Windjammers with a time of 18:03.7 while 
Eliana Cortese placed 12th with a time of 30:40.0.
