Elizabeth Stanley’s motto is: No gardening question is too weird.  On Tuesday, February 12, at 10 a.m. she will be the featured speaker for the Winter Horticulture Series presented by Camden Garden Club in the Picker Room of Camden Public Library.  Stanley’s audience will learn about growing in containers and raised beds for beauty, convenience and accessibility and her talk will cover design, plants, growing mediums, and fertility.

Elizabeth Stanley coordinates home and school gardening programs for the University of Maine Extension.  She also works part-time for Lee Schneller Fine Gardens, and in that capacity has enjoyed three crew trips to Japan.  She lives with her husband in Warren, where they grow trees, flowers & vegetables on the shores of Crawford Pond.
