Merryspring Nature Center will host a free bug safari walk for families and children on Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m.
During the Bug Safari, children and their families can learn about, find, and catch insects and other tiny creatures in Merryspring’s gardens. Darting dragonflies, buzzing bumblebees, fluttering butterflies, and busy beetles will all be on display during this program on a summer morning. Nets, bug cages, and guidebooks will be available for use.
To keep groups small during pandemic conditions, Free Family Fridays have limited space available and guests MUST pre-register for this program. Families can sign up by contacting Merryspring at email@example.com or 207-236-2239.
This program is outdoors. Families must wear face masks and adhere to safe social distancing guidelines. In the event of rain this program will be canceled. Guests should bring water bottles and be prepared to be outside for up to one hour.
