BROOKS — The annual town meeting for the Town of Brooks will be held Tuesday, May 4 at the Brooks Fire Station. 

The meeting will begin with a budget presentation at 6:10 p.m. followed by the warrant articles at 6:30 p.m.

In addition to seeking approval from voters related to municipal expenses and funding, key warrant articles include the following. Click here to view the complete town meeting warrant in its entirety.

Article 2: To elect the necessary Town Officers:
A. Selectman, Assessor, and Overseer of the Poor for a three-year term
B. Road Commissioner
C. Fire Chief
D. Cemetery Trust Fund Committee member for a three-year term
E. Three Planning Board members each for a three-year term.

Article 3: To see if the Town will vote to establish a Parks & Recreation Board consisting of five (5) members to be appointed by the Selectmen. The terms will be two (2) members for one year and three (3) members for two years. The Board shall be responsible to the Selectmen for performing any duties delegated to it regarding parks & recreation.
