Monday Night Movie Series in the Amphitheatre

CAMDEN — The Camden Public Library’s Monday Night Movie Series kicks off this summer, Monday, July 15, at 8:30 p.m., in the Amphitheatre, with a film based on the young adult fantasy novel Inkheart, by Cornelia Funke.

This family-friendly story is about about a teenage girl named Meggie and her father who has a special ability to literally bring characters to life when he reads aloud. The gift backfires when he accidentally summons a villain, who is reluctant to return to his literary realm.

Rated PG. 1 hr, 46 min. 2008.

Bring blankets and chairs to comfortably enjoy this free film under the stars.

Make-up date in case of rain will be July 29.

The Camden Public Library will be showing three more films based on books in the Amphitheatre over the course of the summer: July 22, Mystery on the Orient Express; August 12, The Secret Garden; August 19, To Catch a Thief.
