ROCKPORT — Dirigo Learning and the Rockport Public Library present "Bones: A Hands-on Children's Program" for kids aged 5-12, Monday, August 5, at 2 p.m., at the Rockport Public Library.
Dirigo Learning founder Robin Huntley will bring a museum of animal bones, consisting largely of species found in Maine. Participants will get up-close-and-personal with skulls, vertebrae, claws, and more while learning about the major identifying characteristics of bones from various mammals, fish, and birds.
This event is free and open to all.
