‘Birds, Songs, and Flowers’ with Audubon’s Gary Roberts

CAMDEN — On Thursday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m., the Camden Public Library will co-host a program in with Mid-Coast Audubon entitled: “Birds, Songs, and Flowers.” Presenter Gary Roberts will facilitate a conversation exploring Maine birds, their unique songs, and the native plants and flowers that can be found in each bird’s habitat. 

Roberts has volunteered as a naturalist at Maine Audubon for more than 30 years and is a registered Maine guide specializing in guiding from a natural history perspective. Roberts has been a plant conservation volunteer, an owl survey volunteer, and a mountain bird watch volunteer. He is also a life member and past board member of the Maine Wilderness Guides Organization.

Roberts graduated from the University of Maine and is retired from Portland Pipeline Corporation.
