Belfast’s climate-change committee to share plans on tackling coastal issues at film screening
BELFAST — Tuesday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m., the Belfast Free Library will host a free screening of Paris to Pittsburgh, a new film from National Geographic.
From coastal cities to America’s heartland, Americans are demanding and developing real solutions in the face of climate change. And as the weather grows more deadly and destructive, they aren’t waiting on Washington to act.
Learn about their incredible stories in Paris to Pittsburgh, and be inspired to create change in your own community, according to Belfast Free Library, in a news release.

The Climate Change Committee of the City of Belfast is co-sponsoring the event; after the film members of the committee will lead a brief discussion about what they are planning to do to tackle the increasing complexities brought about by climate change, especially to coastal communities.
