Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity Sept. 2-27.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Sept. 2
William V. Hegstrom, 20, of Thorndike, was issued summonses for theft, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving to endanger, and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident on Commercial Street.
Sept. 14
Winston Durkee, 27, of Belfast, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Lincolnville Ave.
Sept. 26
Jamie S. Matlack, 51, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 1.
