BELFAST — The high school cross country season opened Friday, Sept. 25 for a trio of area teams competing at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast. 

Oceanside, Camden Hills and Belfast competed in a cross country race at the Waldo County course. 

In the girls division, Camden Hills placed first with a total time of 1:51:12.28 and Belfast placed second with a total time of 2:11:56.75. Oceanside did not score as a team. 

In the boys division, Belfast placed first with a total time of 1:39:14.77 and Camden Hills placed second with a total time of 1:41:49.49. Oceanside did not score as a team.
