Belfast Free Library to host screening of ‘Paris to Pittsbugh’

BELFAST- On Tuesday April 23 at 6:30 p.m. the Belfast Free Library will host a free screening of “Paris to Pittsburgh,” a new film from National Geographic, produced by RadicalMedia in partnership with Bloomberg Philanthropies -- narrated by Emmy® and Golden Globe® Award-winning actress and activist Rachel Brosnahan (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”).

From coastal cities to America’s heartland, Americans are demanding and developing real solutions in the face of climate change. And as the weather grows more deadly and destructive, they aren’t waiting on Washington to act. The Climate Change Committee of the City of Belfast is co-sponsoring the event; after the film members of the committee will lead a brief discussion about what they are planning to do to tackle the increasing complexities brought about by climate change, especially to coastal communities.
