ROCKPORT — Bay Chamber continues their Midday Concert Series with Duo Zonda on Wednesday, March 8, at 1 p.m., at Union Hall, 6 Central St., in Rockport Village. 

Duo Zonda features internationally renowned flautists Orlando Cela and Wei Zhao. The duo explores the possibilities of the flute in its many forms, using western classical flutes and folk flutes from all over the world to rediscover and create new sound landscapes. Since its inception in 2016, Duo Zonda has performed more than a hundred premieres across the US and Europe. Their program includes music by Couperin, Handel, Mendelssohn and more.

Bay Chamber’s new Midday Music Series of four winter/spring concerts features innovative artists and ensembles and offers a midday break in the relaxed atmosphere of Union Hall.

“Feel free to bring your lunch!” said Bay Chamber, in a news release.

Tickets include coffee and cookies available before the concert.

Bay Chamber is committed to making live performance accessible to a broad audience by offering a tiered ticketing system.
