Author Alice Bingham Gorman to discuss 'Daffodils in December' in Tenants Harbor
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 5 p.m., Maine author Alice Bingham Gorman will read and discuss her book, Daffodils in December: Poems from an Unexpected Life at the Jackson Memorial Library in Tenants Harbor.
Hailed as imaginative and wise, according to the library, the book journeys through grief and doubt to a place of possibility, “that sense of stepping off / into the vast unknown.”
Alice Bingham Gorman is a writer of fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry. Her articles have been published in Vogue, O, The Oprah Magazine, The Delta Review, The Maine Times and other publications since 1969.
