ROCKPORT — Coastal Mountains Land Trust’s Arts on the Hill program brings the Gawler Family Band to Beech Hill Preserve on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m., as part of this summer concert series. Rain date is Sept. 9.
The Gawler Family is a fun-loving, folk-singing, fiddle-playing family from the heart of Maine, according to CMLT, in a news release.
“You don't want to miss this get up and dance show!” said CMLT. “Bring a picnic dinner, relax, and enjoy music on top of the spectacularly beautiful Beech Hill.”
All performances are free and open to all ages, but please leave your dogs at home.
Mazie Cox and Brinkley Thorne help underwrite the Arts on the Hill music series.
Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected over 12,000 acres, offering 50 miles of trails for public recreation.
