CAMDEN — Coastal Mountains Land Trust’s final Arts on the Hill program of the season brings Bennett Konesni and his fiber arts to Beech Hill Preserve on Sunday, September 15, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Bennett will lead a demonstration of fiber arts at 5 p.m. – bring your drop spindles, spinning wheels, or knitting.
Kirtan chants (an ancient call and response form of chanting with instrumental accompaniment) begin at 6 p.m. with the potluck dinner starting at 7 p.m. Participants should bring their own plates and silverware, as well as a dish to share with the group. Drinks and glasses will be provided by the Land Trust.
Moonrise is at 7:28 p.m.
Free and open to all ages,but please leave your dogs at home.
Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected more than 12,000 acres, offering 45 miles of trails for public recreation.
