AUGUSTA — The Maine Gold Rush invitational basketball tournament, being held later this month, will feature some local basketball teams. 

The boys tournament will be held Thursday, Dec. 26 while the girls tournament will be held Tuesday, Dec. 31.

Both events will be held at the Augusta Civic Center and presented by Damon’s Quick Stops & Damon’s Beverage. Sponsors include: Silver sponsors Charlie’s Motor Mall and Kennebec Savings Bank and bronze sponsor JM Arbour Wealth Management.

All day passes are being sold with adults paying $5 and students or seniors paying $3. 

Below is the schedule for both the boys and girls tournaments. 

Boys Tournament Dec. 26

Charlie’s Motor Mall Division
Game One — Mt. Ararat vs. Spruce Mountain — 10:30 a.m. 
Game Two — Boothbay vs. Medomak Valley — Noon
Game Three — Championship Game — 1:30 p.m.

Kennebec Savings Bank Division
Game Four — Oceanside vs. Messalonskee — 3:30 p.m.
Game Five — Madison vs. Oxford Hills — 5 p.m.
Game Six — Championship Game — 6:30 p.m.

Girls Tournament Dec. 31

Charlie’s Motor Mall Division
Game One — Boothbay vs. Messalonskee — 9 a.m. 
Game Two — Hall-Dale vs. Medomak Valley — 10:30 a.m. 
Game Three — Championship Game — Noon

Kennebec Savings Bank Division
Game Four — St. Dominic’s vs. Winthrop — 2 p.m.
Game Five — Spruce Mountain vs. Erskine Academy — 3:30 p.m.
Game Six — Championship Game — 5 p.m.
