APPLETON — The Appleton Library recently awarded two Kindles to patrons who completed the latest reading program.

Library staff awarded an adult Kindle Fire to Jackie DeRico and a children’s Kindle went to Max, who promised to share the Kindle with his younger brother.

Both recipients were delighted with the Kindles, according to the Library, in a news release.

“We were able to award them due to the generosity of the Union Masonic Lodge who donated them to us,” said the Library. “Please look for our next reading program, as we have a couple more Kindles to give out as prizes.”

The Appleton Library is currently open on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 8:00 pm, on Thursdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Curbside pickup is also available during those hours. You can reach us at 207-785-5656. Thank you!
